Our Congress

As well as taking pride in being among those nations with the youngest population, Turkey is at the same time also one of the fastest aging countries.  The process of meeting the needs of an aging population does not currently appear on Turkey’s agenda, either in terms of policy and legislation, or investment and enterprise. This indicates that the country’s government bodies, private sector and non-governmental institutions, academic and media institutions, tourism and insurance institutions, are at the threshold of creating a business area that we will call the aging economy.  The Fifth International Third Age Tourism and Dynamics Congress will take place at the Ankara Hilton Hotel between the dates of November 30 – December 01, 2017 and is the only platform in the country at which the subject of the aging economy is discussed. This will be carried out by M.D. specialist Sinan İBİŞ in coordination with the Medical Tourism Association. At this congress world actors of the aging economy will be introduced to the dynamics of our country and take steps towards a business alliance.
